Saving you money on your energy bills.
Heat pumps save you money on your energy bills long term.
What is a heat pump system?
Heat pumps use the residual heat stored in the air, ground or water to heat your home. Heat pumps help protect our planet whilst generating all the heat needed for your home, this helps protect you from ever increasing heating bills.
Here’s how you can benefit from installing a heat pump system in your home:
Lower the running cost of your home in heating bills by improving your energy efficiency.
Heat pumps require less maintenance than combustion heating systems.
Increase your home comfort levels.
No need to burn fossil fuels at home.
Support the environment by reducing your greenhouse gas emissions.
How does a heat pump work?
Heat pumps are highly efficient and clean because they don’t depend on the burning of fuel to create the heat, they manage the temperature by transferring heat. There are three essential components to a heat pump:
The outdoor unit or the evaporator which extracts energy from the air, water, geothermal or solar by forcing the liquid to transform into a gas. A compressor then compresses the gas, which raises its thermal reading.
The indoor unit or the condenser which exchanges the heat from the gas to the heating system, and the gas returns to a liquid state.
The refrigerant transfers the heat as it circulates between the outdoor and indoor unit. The expansion valve lowers the pressure of the refrigerant, which triggers evaporation and the cycle begins all over again.
Whether you are building a home or renovating, a heat pump system is the ideal energy solution.
Heat pumps are the ideal choice for new homes or builds. The system requires far less energy than oil burners and solid fuels and your home utilises the energy far better and more efficiently. Essentially they are a way for you to secure a warmer home, with less paid out of your pocket on energy bills long term.
Not only does this system work for you and your family, but it is also friendlier to our environment, our climate and helps us do our part for the carbon foot print.
